WSDA Brand Name Material list now accepted nationally

The Washington State Department of Agriculture's "Brand Name Material List is now accepted outside of Washington State!
On March 5, 2008, the USDA sent a memo to all USDA certifying agents regarding the verification of materials used under the National Organic Program. The National Organic Program amended its policy to allow accredited certifying agents (ACAs) to consult with other ACAs to determine the acceptability of formulated (branded) products.

The WSDA Organic Food program does a fabulous job, and should be commended for it. I do commend them here, FWIW.
